Hove, England – CGTech will demonstrate the new version of VERICUT® CNC machine simulation, verification and optimisation software at Elmia Machine Tool 2016 in Jönköping, Sweden, 10th – 13th May, stand number B01:42.
VERICUT CNC simulation software is used world-wide to simulate the machining process for large, small, simple or complex parts and all types of CNC machining, including drilling and trimming of composite parts, water jet, robots and mill/turn. It simulates all types of CNC machines including leading brands such as Mazak, DMG MORI, Makino, Matsuura, Okuma, Haas, and Heller and while it operates stand alone, it can also be integrated with all leading CAM systems including Dassault Systemes CATIA, Siemens PLM NX CAM, Delcam PowerMill, Vero EdgeCAM, Open Mind hyperMILL, DP Esprit and Missler TopSolidCAM.
The latest version, VERICUT 7.4, includes many enhancements that further simplify the process of simulating a CNC machine and new features designed to make NC programmers’ jobs easier. These updates utilise the latest technologies to enable faster processing speeds, longer tool life and increased part quality. Added features to the user interface simplify the most common user actions and significant developer hours have been invested to increase simulation speed by more thoroughly taking advantage of multiple processors and background processing.
“The enhancements in version 7.4 provide the speed organisations need to rapidly release new part programs to the shop floor, train new users, and continually optimise workpiece quality to ensure customer satisfaction,” said CGTech Ltd Managing Director John Reed. “Changes to how users interact with VERICUT further improve VERICUT’s workflow and simplify day-to-day NC programming and simulation use.”
Visitors to CGTech’s stand will receive a hands-on look at many of the new features and enhancements. This includes a redesigned user interface, status window, and tool manager. The free Reviewer application is enhanced with a new MDI option, and selecting a tool in the new “Tools” window automatically sets the “Start” and “End” motion markers.
